Softway is on the lookout for a PHP Developer who is passionate about building products that our customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and other related technologies.
Work with various relational database systems, such as MySQL, to create and manage databases efficiently.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while optimizing existing codebase for improved performance.
Design client-side and server-side architecture
Collaborate with development teams and product managers to ideate product and software solutions
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Create APIs that are highly efficient.
Integrate third-party APIs and web services into web applications.
Implement best practices for web application security and data protection, including protection against common web vulnerabilities.
Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure the reliability and stability of the applications.
Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.
Analyze and optimize the performance of web applications to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.
Use version control systems like Git to manage codebase and collaborate effectively with team members.
Maintain and update project documentation for easy reference and knowledge sharing within the team.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in PHP development.
Leverage your AWS knowledge to host and optimize PHP applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
TECHNOLOGY MUST HAVES:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or a related field is required.
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in PHP development is required.
Experience with Laravel, Cakephp or any equivalent framework
Proficiency in PHP, along with knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Vue, and other web technologies.
Good knowledge of OOPS
Experience with database design and management, preferably with MySQL or other relational databases.
Experience with AWS services, including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda functions etc.
Knowledge of Git and experience with version control systems.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and learn new technologies.
GREAT TO HAVE:
Experience working with Laravel
Familiarity with CI/CD philosophy, processes, and tools.
Experience in developing applications using No-SQL databases.
Knowledge of data structures and algorithm
